El concepto de valor parte del grado de utilidad o aptitud de las cosas para satisfacer necesidades o proporcionar bienestar o deleite. The concept of value of the degree of usefulness or fitness of things to meet needs or providing welfare or delight.
El valor de un bien está determinado por la cantidad de trabajo que se gastó en producirlo. The value of an asset is determined by the amount of work that was spent on producing it.
Un producto puede ser útil sin tener valor, tal es el caso del aire, de la tierra, de los campos, etc. A product may be useful without value, this is the case of air, land, fields, etc.. Pero por otra parte, ningún objeto inútil puede ser de valor. But on the other hand, any object can be useless value. Si es inútil también lo será el trabajo que encierra; no contará como trabajo ni representará, por tanto, valor. If it is useless so too will the work involved; not count as work or represent, therefore, value.
En términos cuantitativos, el valor de un bien se descompone en valor de las materias primas usadas, mas el valor del coste de producción, más la plusvalía generada por la fuerza de trabajo. In quantitative terms, the value of an asset is broken down in value of the raw materials used, but the value of production cost, plus the added value generated by the workforce.
